Michelle is a dual qualified lawyer, holding an unrestricted practising certificate in NSW, Australia, as well as being admitted to the New York Bar, USA. She graduated from the University of Sydney, and now has over 10 years practising experience. She has worked in senior roles in the NSW Government, top international law firms, a peak industry body and in-house for a public company.
Michelle is experienced with the full spectrum of employee relations and corporate & commercial law issues. She is adept at advising on matters that can often be highly complex, sensitive, and technical in nature, and skilled at relations with unions and industrial bodies. She provides practical, plain-English guidance to clients whether they be SMEs, large complex multinationals, or not-for-profits. She actively listens to clients’ issues, and delivers advice and/or solutions with high attention to detail and empathy.
Her reputation as a leading practitioner in her field has been recognised by the profession. She was a nominee for the Lawyer’s Weekly “30 under 30” Awards in 2015, and finalist in the prestigious McCallum Medal Competition run by NSW Young Lawyers in 2014.
